Ree Arnold

Ree Arnold is a Professor Emeritus at Montclair State University in New Jersey where she taught for 26 years. She earned a B.S in Physical Education from Valparaiso University, an M.Ed. degree from Miami University of Ohio, and an Ed.D. in Motor Learning and Biomechanics from Teachers College, Columbia University.
While at Montclair State University, Dr. Arnold taught research design and statistical analysis at the graduate level, and advised graduate research projects. She also served as Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Physical Education and Exercise Science at Montclair. In addition, she taught undergraduate Measurement and Kinesiology, undergraduate and graduate level Motor Learning, and graduate level Biomechanics. Prior to joining the faculty at Montclair, Dr. Arnold taught at Herbert Lehman College and the University of Buffalo.
Dr. Arnold has authored more than 20 publications, including application of research findings to educational settings. She has been a speaker at more than 40 professional conferences at the state, regional, and national levels. In this role, Dr. Arnold was selected to present a Research Keynote Address at the Eastern District Conference of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
Dr. Arnold is the recipient of 8 major awards for professional excellence and service including citations for both scholarship and teaching. Prior to retiring from Montclair State University, she was presented the Outstanding Faculty Member award.
